The membership entitles you to coverage for just about any mishap for one year. If you find yourself in distress, a simple VHF radio call on Channel 16 will bring fast response from a professionally licensed Sea Tow captain. You'll get a safe, fast tow into your home port, or closest safe harbor if you're outside your home area. All of Sea Tow's boats are equipped to handle just about any emergency, plus the captain's have the knowledge and experience to quickly get you and your vessel out of harm's way.

Once you receive the package, you simply call the enclosed 800 number to activate it.

Here are the most important benefits you'll receive with your membership:

Towing:

FREE UNLIMITED TOWING to your home port or repair facility while you're in your home area.

Free towing to the nearest, best facility for repairs and/or transportation if you're outside your home area.

If you're in an area with no Sea Tow coverage, a call to the Sea Tow International office will arrange a local tower to help you out. Your membership provides coverage up to $2,500 per tow, with no annual limitation, for any boat you own!
Un-grounding:

At the discretion of the local Sea Tow captain, member vessels that can be pulled off easily (soft aground) will be serviced at no charge.
Fuel and Parts:

Fuel and parts will be delivered, if conditions permit. Transferring fuel at sea can be dangerous, so it is up to the Sea Tow captain's discretion whether to fuel your boat or to tow you in. There is no delivery charge or towing fee. However, the fuel or parts cost are not covered.
Navigation Assistance:

If you should ever get lost, call the local Sea Tow captain to receive local knowledge and guidance. Sea Tow captains are standing watch 24 hours a day, every day, monitoring VHF Channel 16 and other channels, and are equipped with discreet communications systems to expedite services.

In addition to all these priceless services, members receive a single year's subscription to Lifelines, a safety at sea magazine featuring articles on the latest equipment, navigation updates, and stories of rescues and salvage on the high seas.
